Our individualized programs for school age children and adults are designed to offer each patient the opportunity to achieve functional language skills.

Speech and Language Assessment

At Bright Star Speech and Language Services children and adults enjoy a friendly and professional environment during assessment and during the course of the intervention program. We offer a comprehensive assessment in all areas of communication with emphasis in areas of specific concern. We thoroughly analyze each individual case to determine the type of evaluation to be performed. Our evaluation reports are comprehensive and customized according to our findings and thorough analysis, they includes a treatment plan to address areas of specific concern.

Individual Speech and Language Therapy

Bright Star Speech and Language Services customize treatment plans in the areas of receptive, expressive and social pragmatic language, articulation and fluency based on individualized evaluation and areas of delay or deficit.

Group Language Therapy

Bright Star Speech and Language Services supplements individual intervention with patient participation in language group. Receptive and expressive language goals are reinforced in group therapy as well as the use of appropriate social pragmatic language skills. 

Group Articulation/Phonology Therapy

Bright Star Speech and Language Services supplement individual intervention with patient participation in articulation/phonology group. Articulation or phonological goals are reinforced in group therapy at the same time we stimulate the use of appropriate expressive language skills.

Parent Training

Bright Star Speech and Language Services value parent participation in the process of language stimulation and language remediation. Parents’ goals are part of our treatment plan. Parents are educated in the use of language strategies at home.
